These general conditions of travel tickets Internet sales determine the conditions under which the provider of ticket sales service Go Fast Ferry. (hereinafter Go Fast Ferry) will provide the service of travel tickets sales to its passenger (hereinafter the Buyer) on its website gofastferry.com
Article 2
Online travel ticket purchase On the gofastferry.com, the Buyer can buy a ticket online. It is considered that a contract of carriage between the passenger and the carrier as well as a contract of mediation between passenger and St Barth Ferry is concluded after a successful payment transaction, after which the confirmation number for the booking along with the receipt of sale are submitted to the Buyer's e-mail address. Unless otherwise specified, the following services are included in the ticket price:
- Ferry port fee this fee is charged by some ferry port for entering the premises of the ferry port. The fee is usually around 15 USD or 12 Euro which is included in the total price of the booking.
- Luggage fee, depending on carrier fees, might be charged for luggage going to the hold of the ferry, the prices vary depending on the route and the amount of luggage and carrier operating the route. For ferry lines, the fee is usually Free for a regular suitcase and baggage. Excessive or large baggage or packages may incur an extra fee. Contact the operator directly if you have questions.
Article 3
For all offers that can be purchased via the Internet, the contract is realized by delivering confirmation to the Buyer on successful purchase via e-mail. In order to make a successful purchase, successful completion of the payment module is necessary. In case the electronic payment is not completed, the purchase will be deleted. After purchasing the ticket on the website gofastferry.com the Buyer will immediately receive a confirmation via e-mail containing the data of the order. The purchased ticket is only valid in printed form. On entering the ferry operators check-In desk, the buyer must have the previously the confirmation notification available, received via e-mail or downloaded, which has to be submitted to the ferry staff as well as the document that proves that the Buyer is the person to whom the ticket is addressed.
Article 4
The Transport service is provided by the carrier stated on the ferry ticket, in case the route is operated by more carriers in co-operation, all carrier names will be stated on the ticket. The Carrier provides transport services for the Customer and is, therefore, the enforcer within the meaning of the Passenger Transport Act. With the conclusion of the contract (Purchase of a ticket), the Customer is entitled to use transport services of the Carrier according to the booking carried out at gofastferry.com do its utmost to ensure, but cannot guarantee the proper fulfillment of the contract between the Customer and Carrier. The terms and conditions of the carrier operating the route apply to the transportation service. Go Fast Ferry. shall not be held responsible for damages or losses on account of the failure of performance if the failure is occasioned by any force majeure such as government action, war, terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, strike, lockout, embargo, the act of God, or any other cause beyond the control and without the fault or negligence of the ferry carriers, claiming force majeure has exerted all reasonable efforts to avoid or remedy such force majeure; provided, however, that in no event shall Go Fast Ferry. be required to settle any labor dispute or disturbance. Such excuse shall continue as long as the condition preventing the performance continues. Go Fast Ferry. shall not be liable for failure or delay of performance of any of its obligations hereunder if such failure or delay is due to causes beyond its reasonable control including, without limitation, natural disasters, fires, earthquakes or storms, strikes, failures of public utilities or common carriers, acts of war, or intervention, acts restraints or regulations of any governmental authority, including compliance with any order of any governmental considerations; provided that any such delay or failure shall be remedied as soon as possible using reasonable efforts after removal of the cause of such failure.

- Through frequent updates gofastferry.com does its utmost to secure the correctness of the timetables online. However, we can not guarantee and we are not found on gofastferry.com is your own responsibility. If you should have any doubts about which departure time to choose, please consult our help desk staff for advice which you can do here.
- Routes purchased online on gofastferry.com Timetables and prices for these routes have been confirmed and published for sale by the carrier providing the transportation service.
- If there is a difference between the online timetable and the time printed on the email confirmation, the time on the email confirmation is the valid one.
- Having purchased a ticket, the Customer accepts that minor changes in the timetable, e.g. in cases of delays due to traffic or other circumstances not caused by the negligence of the carrier, might occur. In case of late departure or full ferry, the carrier might re-book the customer to a later departure if such is available within a reasonable time frame from the originally scheduled departure time. Delays in arrival time may occur, especially in periods with heavy traffic. In case of cancellation or considerable delay, the Client will receive a refund.
- In case of a planned or necessary timetable change, Go Fast Ferry will inform the Customer via the E-mail provided upon the ticket purchase. It is the obligation of the Customer to check the E-mail 12 hours prior to the departure, to check whether there are any announced changes in the timetable.
- Having purchased a ticket for a ferry route including one or more border crossings, the customer is obligated to bring a valid passport.
- Return tickets: Depending on the Carrier, return tickets of the following types might be available:
- Open return; this ticket has an open date for the return drive, depending on the Carrier, validity of the open return ticket may vary, and typically it has a length of 1 year.
- To use an open return ticket, the Customer will contact and arrange directly with the ferry operator.
- For certain routes and carriers other rules might apply.
Article 6
Sales deadline: Ferry tickets can usually be purchased on the website gofastferry.com within a period of 2 hours before the trip but deadlines vary depending on the carrier and occupancy of a specific ferry line.
Article 7
Purchased ticket re-booking and refund Refund for purchased tickets A full or partial refund for the paid tickets (minus service fee), except for the non-refundable ones (see below), is possible under the following circumstances:
- Passengers have to request a refund minimum of 48 hours prior to the departure time stated on the original ticket
- The refund request should be sent on E-mail using the contact form on gofastferry.com
The amount refunded is deducted a service fee of 20% per ticket. A ticket refund less the 48 hours before the departure stated on the original ticket is not possible.
NOTE: In accordance with article 3(k) of the Directive 2011/83/EU, passenger transport services are not under the scope of the said directive and consequently are not subject to the application of the right of withdrawal.
NOTE: Special rules apply if the ferry is canceled.
- Non-refundable tickets: A non-refundable ticket is as the term itself suggests NON-refundable!
- Non-amendable ticket: A non-amendable ticket is the one for which you cannot re-book the time/date of departure. During the booking process, it will be stated if a ticket is non-amendable.
For these tickets, the standard cancellation and re-booking policy do not apply. Ticket re-booking A re-booking of a ticket, except for the non-amendable ones (see above), to any other route sold on Go Fast Ferry is possible 24 hours prior to the departure time stated on the original ticket. To re-book a ticket client must contact gofastferry.com or the operator directly. Either by email or phone.
Depending on the situation they were issued in, there are two kinds of vouchers:
- PROMOTIONAL (PROMO) VOUCHER: PROMO VOUCHER is a discount code issued free of charge for marketing purposes only. This type of voucher is not related to a user account in any way and it can be used for the ticket purchase via the gofastferry.com website according to the terms defined by the marketing campaign for which it was issued. During a single purchase it is possible to use up to one PROMO VOUCHER. If the price of the chosen journey is higher than the value of the issued PROMO VOUCHER, the user should pay the price difference. If the price is lower, the remaining amount of the issued PROMO VOUCHER cannot be used further. The PROMO VOUCHER is valid up to three months from the beginning of the marketing campaign unless otherwise stated in the terms of the marketing campaign itself. The PROMO VOUCHER can not be exchanged for money, and can not be used to pay prior purchases.

Tickets purchased via partners For all ferry tickets purchased via our Partners (specification below), General conditions stated on their pages apply. Go Fast Ferry, as a Mediator in finding departures on its partners' pages, is in no way liable to Buyers for potential cancellations or departure modifications on purchased tickets by the Buyers themselves, as well as for cancellations, ferry delays or potential ferry schedule errors made by the Partner. Therefore, we cannot be held liable for any damage caused by using our web page as a connection between You (the Buyer) and our Partners who offer the desired route which was not available in our offer. Specification: routes with a blue button which says BUY TICKET are routes sold directly through our sale system; our General Terms and Conditions apply to those routes.
